I checked the seed flats today and the Red Rubin Basil is up. I was surprised to see it is purple from the beginning! I can't wait to taste it. I sent some other basil seeds to a lady in Ohio today. I really enjoy swapping seeds. Spicy globe basil and mammoth basil are poking their heads through today too. The scallions are all starting to peek. I planted cactus seeds with my son.
I talked to my grandfather about cleome via e-mail. It is one of his favorite plants. I am excited to grow it this year and have that connection with him.
Last night I joined a soapmaking forum and a homesteading forum. I hope to get some useful information from them that I can use.
Great Scott!
